just wanted to put a little update up.... it's been over a month since i posted! i can't believe tomorrow is already may! today was my last day of classes and i had 1 final. ahhhhhh. it was part one of computer and it was LONG. i was just doing some school work and i couldn't keep my eyes open so i decided to take a little break lol. i have my math and reading final on tues then my part 2 of comp on thurs. sometimes i feel like there is just not enough time! i still have soooooooooo much to do before tuesday. i have a bunch of stuff to do for my online class and then i have a whole review to do for math. which i want to get done in between working this weekend so if i need help i can go up there on monday. i'm thinking about getting up early tomorrow so i can work on it.. then i have some time sat before work. soooo hopefully i will get it all done before monday.
sometime next week i need to go talk to the counselor and see what classes i'm gonna take in the summer so i can hurry up and register. i'm pretty sure i want to take english. and idk what else. after the final our reading teacher is gonna tell us if she thinks we should take 0312 or not. it's optional but i may go ahead and take it cuz it's TBA (no lecture class just at your own pace and time) and it should be easy so i might take it just to raise my gpa. but i'm not sure yet...??
so that's it for now i guess.... i'll be VERY glad when next week is over!

just sayin' hi
just wanted to make a little post so yall know i'm still alive.. lol jk. i don't really have anything to write about.. i've just been up to the same old same old. school, homework, work, school, homework, work. lol. i don't know what i would do if i worked full time... i would be so overwhelmed. and sometimes i feel overwhelmed working part time! school is going good.. .the classes are def alot more challenging than last semester. reading isn't bad but math and comp are the hardest. i thought comp would be a blow off class because it's just about different software (powerpoint, word, excel, vista... etc) but it's hard and frustrating but everyone in the class feels that way! lol. and music is easy i just have to set aside time to actually do it because it's online you know. i can't believe how fast this year is going.. i think i have already been in this semester for like 6 wks.. it's crazy. it ends in the beginning of may. if everything goes as planned (and i still want to talk to the counselor) i'm thinking i will take the last dev math 312 and eng 1301 (it's a nursing pre req) so i figured i would take those in the summer. they have two summer sessions and they are 6 wks each i think. so i'm gonna do the first one it's from the beginning of june till the middle of july. you have class mon-thurs but it's worth it to me b/c you get a whole semester done in 6 wks as compared to 16 wks i think.
work is going good... i will be there 9 months on 3-12. crazy huh? just a few more months and i will get PTO. wootwoot! lol. i def like being one of the ones that has been there along time.. it's alot less stressful and i'm super fast on the register lol. there is only one person left from when i first started! she is a sweet girl though. people come and go there it's so crazy. i like most of the people i work with though of course there is always the annoying few lol. our business is so unpredictable right now.. one weekend it will be crazy busy and one weekend it will be like a ghost town. i like it better when it's a ghost town. LOL. i guess with the economy you just never know... we are getting a new store manager on monday so that should be interesting lol... every manager is diff you know.
anywayyy i can't think of anything else to ramble on about. lol.
oh ya I CANT WAIT FOR SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
did i mention i'm excited about spring break??? lol.
it's gonna be awesome.
oh and just another note... that 21 lbs up there is from last year. LOL. i haven't lost anything for a while. i've been really lazy and eating whatever i want for the past few months. i'm just happy i haven't gained anything back lol. i never get fast food or go out to eat and i rarely drink soda so i think that helps. i'm not really sure how much more i want to lose... normal weight for my height is 110-130. that's a big range! so i'm just aiming for 130 i guess.. if i ever get disciplined enough to start dieting again lol. i thought the ticker would motivate me..but ya not so much lol. i don't want to be like stick thin i would just like to loose more in my stomach and thighs. anyway... i'm gonna get off here and take a shower and watch TMZ. peace out.

ok so... i splurged
i have been wanting a camcorder for a long time... and never could imagine paying like 300-500$ for a nice one. well for the past couple of days i have been looking on the amazon and best buy websites comparing different ones... i didn't want to spend over $200. and alot of the ones in my price range had bad reviews. i had narrowed it down and i was thinking about getting one of those Flip camcorders. they are really small and a good price but they didn't store alot and it didn't have the swivel screen. so i planned on going to best buy today to get it.. and just settle because i thought it was the best i could get in my price range. so today after lab i went.... and looked at the Flip camera... and it just seemed like really cheaply made and had a small screen on the back. then i saw this one... it's a no name brand (insignia.. well i have never heard of it) but they had it for 150... i started playing with it and really liked the large screen (3 inch). and it's a camcorder and a 5 megapixel camera. so i asked the lady some questions about it (i like best buy better than walmart or target because you don't have to hunt someone down to help you) and she said that her and a couple of other girls who worked there have the same thing and they loved it. and she said i should get at least a 4 g memory card so i don't constantly have to download onto the computer. so i got a hd one.. it was only 10 bucks more than the regular. the camera came with a rechargeable battery and you can just charge it like a cell phone or with a USB. so far it seems to be working great... i haven't tried to upload anything to the computer yet though.. i wanted to take it to ninas game today but it couldn't charge up in time. so i went out on a whim and bought this camera.. but i don't really care because i never buy anything besides clothes and gas lol. hey i gave the economy a little boost LOL. well i guess i'll stop rambling now... house is coming on in a few. peace out

Merry Christmas Everyone!
here is a pic of our tree... we put it in the corner this year instead of infront of the window so we wouldn't have to move the couch and computer... i think it looks good there though. me and mom decorated it on saturday. i love the white garland we put on there.. it makes it look like snow

college update
ok so this is my spring semester schedule. (don't know why they call it spring when it starts in january lol)
*dev math 0310~8-9:20
*music appreciation~9:30-10:50
*dev reading II 0310~11-12:20
*microcomputer applications~2-3:20 lab-3:30-4:50
so those 2 developmental classes will complete the developmental series.. so that will be the last of those for me! after you pass those then you can take any class you want. which means starting nursing pre-reqs for me. :) i will use the same book for math that i have now... which makes sense because it's huge and cost $160! lol. they have book buybacks next month so i think i will get some of my money back for two of the books i have now. the music appreciation class is actually one of the pre reqs for nursing. you have to have an art credit because they want you to be a well rounded person or whatever. so the counselor told me i should just get it over with now.. and i chose that class because i took it in high school... so i already know alot of the composers and different types of music.. so hopefully it will be easy for me. the computer class just teaches you about all of the computer programs (word, powerpoint, office, excel, etc.) i know word and powerpoint good but not the others. she recommended that class so my transcript would have variety you know. i'm going the same days of the week that i do now. and i have a longer day but i will make it... i have a long break in between though from 12:20-2 and right now i only have 12:20-1. so i'm def going to take advantage of that time to do homework and stuff. i hope i like all of my teachers like i do this year... my friend had the math teacher i'm gonna have and she said she was really good. so i can only hope for the best! lol. i'm going to have 12 credit hours for this semester and then next semester i will have 13 because the computer class is worth 4 credits. so 25 credits for my first year wont be too shabby. :)
so the plan after the spring semester is start nursing pre reqs in fall of '09. (i'm considering taking one or two classes in the summer of '09... just because the more pre reqs you have done the better it looks when you apply for the nursing program). then in jan of '10 i will apply for the nursing program.. even though i will still be taking pre reqs that semester.. you don't find out if you are accepted or not until may. it will be so nervewracking! lol. and then i can only pray i will be starting nursing classes september of 2010. but that is still a ways away so i'm not even gonna worry about it! lol.
the tuition is $754 (it went up. sadface. lol.) but with all of the other fees and such that they throw in there it's $947 total. and i have over $1000 in savings so i have more than enough and you have to pay by jan 7th. i'm just gonna write them one big fat check so i don't have to worry about making payments! haha. i will just start saving for the next semester.
anyway.... besides school and work i don't have anything else going on that i can think of... i can't believe thanksgiving is in like two weeks. i think my reading teacher said we have thanksgiving week.. then another week of classes then the next week is finals! the end of the semester is coming quick! i'm not telling my boss i want to work during christmas break. LOL. i want some time off! i just want to work my regular hours.. oh and today will be 5 months that i have been working there... time has gone fast! sad thing is i still have 7 months till i can get pto. :( LOL.
so i guess that is all for now!

so 10 facts about myself? hmmmmm.
1. i hate driving! i don't care if it's traffic or not... i don't know why but if someone else can drive i want them to! lol. and i have major road rage. people are so dumb!
2. i'd rather not pay full price. what is the point of paying full price for clothes if you can go back 2-4 weeks later and get it on sale? and that doesn't mean i'm cheap! ha ha.
3. i love keeping my closet clean. i mean we spend so much money on clothes.. why not take care of them? my room may look like a tornado went through it but my closet looks perfect lol. i like having it organized. i have shirts on one side, pants on one side, and sweaters and dresses on the other. then i have all of my purses on the shelves. i really need to clean those out one day because most of them i will never use again!
4. i cannot turn my mind off. i always find myself daydreaming or thinking about other things. like in class... they will be lecturing and i keep drifting off and coming back. ha. and at work.. a customer will be talking to me or asking me a question.. and i'll be like.. wait.. what? ha ha. obviously i have no interest in what they are saying. lol. but the worst is at night when i'm trying to fall asleep. i can count on anywhere from 30 min to 3 hrs before i fall asleep. and believe me.. i've tried every trick in the book!
5. i love the Christmas season. i mean.. i love the day to. but the season is just the fun of it. all of the decorations, wrapping, cold weather. and just the mood you know. and the music of course. i listen to christmas music all during december. i love it. 99.1 plays it all the time and when they have commercials i have a cd! ha ha.
6. i am very picky. that probably isn't a good thing.. but that's just me i guess. a few examples are i have to do laundry my way. everything has to be folded and hung how i like it! and i am picky about food.. you couldn't tell by looking at me.. lol. but i don't like and won't touch and don't like the smell of certain foods.
7. i love making good grades. i mean i don't mean to sound ignorant but it just makes you feel good about yourself.. like you accomplished something you know.
8. i like staying in a routine... i like having a set schedule every week you know. i'm type A personality so i don't like anything spur of the moment lol.
9. i don't like any conflict. i don't like anyone or thinking that anyone is mad at me. it bugs me and it's all i can think about. i hate feeling guilty too.
10. i love when God answers little prayers. i don't know if i'm the only one who expierences this. but like it'll be something small like Lord, please don't let it rain when i have to walk to my next class. and sure enough it won't and right when i walk into my class it starts raining! it's little stuff that works out that way and you know it's a God thing!
